At Forgeway, we specialize in high-quality contract manufacturing of industrial adhesives and sealants, producing over 3,000 tonnes annually. With a wealth of experience working with some of the world’s largest brands, our versatile manufacturing processes can be tailored to meet a variety of needs. Whether it’s white-label production, custom manufacturing, or bulk production, we ensure quality at every step.
All of our adhesives and sealants are made in the UK.
Our Core Expertise
We have extensive experience with multiple adhesive technologies, including:
• MS Polymer Adhesives • Epoxy Adhesives (structural bonding and ultra-low density fillers)
• Acrylic (Methyl Methacrylate) Adhesives for decorative and plastic bonding
• Polyurethane Adhesives for industrial and structural use
Our product portfolio ensures solutions for a wide range of applications, from durable bonding to decorative finishes. However, we do not manufacture silicone, cyanoacrylate, or anaerobic adhesives.
Advanced Production Capabilities
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility houses several types of mixers, enabling us to handle a variety of formulations, including complex and temperature-sensitive materials:
• Large-scale planetary mixers for batches up to 1,100 kg
• Specialized mixers for flammable chemicals with a 1,600 kg capacity
• Smaller mixers for 20L to 250 kg jobs, ideal for scale-up projects
We also have temperature-controlled storage for reactive materials and the expertise to work with challenging components like carbon black and glass beads.
Packaging & Filling Solutions
We offer comprehensive packaging solutions to suit different customer requirements:
• Two-component adhesives with ratios of 1:1, 2:1, and 10:1 in various sizes (50ml to 600ml)
• Single-component adhesives in cartridges and foil packs ("sausages")
• Bulk packaging in pails and drums for high-volume users
Quality & Industry Compliance
We maintain stringent quality standards and hold accreditations across multiple industries, including aerospace (AS9100 certification), fire safety (EN 45545 compliance), and food safety (ISEGA approval). Our testing capabilities include tensile, shear, accelerated weathering, salt spray, and chemical resistance, ensuring that every product meets rigorous performance standards.
